Breaking Dawn? More like breaking yawn....

Okay, so maybe this has been said a lot and I lie when I write breaking yawn, it wasn't *that* bad. All I can say is, wow, SMeyer sure loves a happy ending.

I did enjoy it-especially the Jacob chapters-but it was just a huge anti-climax, though in all fairness, I guess with Twilight, we always knew where the books were going. How it was all going to end.

Harry Potter.

I finished reading Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows AGAIN! I've actually only read it once since it was first published in the summer of 2007. I remember when it was released, I tried putting off reading it for the longest time because I was so sad it was coming to an end. I think I just locked myself in my house for a month, I didn't want to risk having it all spoilt for me.
I guess my memory is pretty bad because I remembered very little-is it normal to forget so much??! In my defence, it was two years ago. Well, I guess this is the perfect time to use the "silver lining" expression, poor memory? silver lining-enjoy the world of Harry Potter again and again and again! (:
It's like family, is it weird to say that? It certainly feels like that. Like when your favourite cousin comes over to stay, that's what Harry Potter et al are like to me. My little world I get to visit and now it's over. Sob. It fills me up with joy when I read the books, it takes me away to a safe place where I have no worries, no problems.
I've been writing a letter to JK for almost an entire a year now, i need everything about it to be perfect. I hope she gets to read it, two years after the Hazza phenomenon ended and I expect she's still being bombarded with fan mail. I just want to thank her for giving us this wonderful world.

Team Edward AND Jacob.

After reading Twilight, I was convinced Team Edward was to way to go, I'm not feeling completely confident now that I've read New Moon. In fact, I'm swaying over to Team Jacob. So, right now I'm on both teams. I run with the vampires and the werewolves!

MK Chic.

OMG, how long has it been, when I started this blog I thought it was going to be a continuous thing, evidently not!!

I went shopping the other day and purchased an over sized gray jumper inspired by the lovely MK Olsen. I adore her style, she manages to make absolutely everything look effortlessly chic! Also loving the "I-just-got-out-of-bed" type look. Props to MK!

People say life is the thing but I prefer reading.

When I was about 10 years old, I was badly hurt (how, well to avoid embarrassment and awkwardness, I won't go into that). I remember feeling so sad and I didn't know when I would be happy again. I went upstairs to my room and cried on my bed and then prayed to Allah. After I finished my prayer, I grabbed my book and curled up on the corner of my bed and for a moment or so, I forgot about the terrible things that had happened that day. I felt happy because I was lost in a world that wasn't mine.

What you waiting for?

I remember the first time I heard Gwen Stefani's single "What You Waiting For?", it was really catchy and I consequently fell in love with it, not just with the song but with the video also. It was based on "Alice in Wonderland", one of my favorite books and films. Alice's world seems far less complicated and anything seems possible in it!

Anyway, I decided to pay attention to what Gwen was saying in the song, to summarise; "what you waiting for" was her first single and the song reflects on how she felt about starting a solo career and how scared she felt. It's inspiring to know that even the most talented can get scared. This doesn't mean that you should just run and hide, you must fight your weaknesses and if that so, then why not now and where you stand?
